Today I got a message about one of this limited edition watch. The message says : “My husband bought this watch for me from Japan. Very cute! It is precious.” It makes me feel very grateful when I know couples are choosing my products to express their love…

Here is my answer to the message received : As you know, behind all my products there is a story, so, let me tell you the story of this watch…here it is :

  1. THE NAMING : This watch is called “Ici et maintenant” (“Here and now”) to remind its owners that every time they look at the watch, they are in the “here and now” which means they are in the eternal “PRESENT”…
  2. THE ANCHOR : When you look at the bottom part of the watch, on the belt, you see an Anchor. This is a marine symbol but it is also an old symbol of safety and faith. It it the reason why it was used by the ancient Christians.
I chose this symbol here to remind the wearer of the watch that he/she always under the protection of the Universe.
  3. THE STAR : The star on the upper pert of the belt is the image of the goals, the ideals we are pursuing during our time on earth.
  4. THE WATCH : it is circular, going from the anchor (our roots) to our ideals are just a question of time, of patience, days and nights are in circular motion, the watch measures the time we need to accomplish our dreams…One pointer of the watch is yellow, like the sun light, the other red like the passion in our heart.
  5. THE STRIPES : blue and white stripes are like the waves of the sea, the ups and downs we sometimes meet when traveling towards our goals, some moments are dark, some other are light, but the watch keep moving and bringing us irresistibly towards our success in reaching our objectives.
  6. GLOBALLY : Globally, this watch is about “navigation”. The words written on the watch say in French “C’est nous les gars de la marine” which means “We are the marine guys”…This sentence come from a traditional song of the French marine. The song also says “we in the marine never fear anything”… In fact we are all “marine people”, we travel on the sea of time and we have no fear of ups and downs because we know that the port will be reached safe if we keep moving on in faith…

That’s the story, I whish you like it…
